Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card/debit card payment and PayPal
Once confirmation of order is received; this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Shipping And Handling on Dry Goods
Orders below £50 charged at cost the maximum charge is £4.95.
All orders of £50 and above delivered FREE to mainland UK.
Tax Charges
VAT rate charged at 15% if applicable.

Fish Delivery
In the unlikely event that a Koi /Aquatic fish is found dead on arrival the following steps must be followed:
- A photograph of the dead fish in the unopened bag must be emailed to
before 12pm on the day of arrival.
- All replacement fish will be sent on a like for like basis and will be included with your next purchase.
- Any refunds offered by Essex Koi and Aquatics UK Ltd will be way of a credit note against purchase of Koi/Aquatic fish
- Once you have signed for the delivery of live fish you will now be deemed the owner of those fish. The fish that you now own must be cared for, if in doubt please seek advice without delay.
- Under no circumstances will Essex Koi and Aquatics UK Ltd be held responsible for any live fish that you purchase from Essex Koi and Aquatics UK Ltd or any existing fish that you own, once your new fish have been introduced to your pond or quarantine system.
Delivery Schedule
We aim to send out your order straight away; you will normally receive within 1/3 working days. Any items received damaged should not be signed for, but returned immediately to the delivery person. Essex Koi and Aquatics UK Ltd do not pay for return postage; returned parcels remain the customer’s responsibility until received back by Essex Koi and Aquatics UK Ltd.
Refund Policy
The customer has the right to cancel within seven days of receipt of goods, the goods should be returned to Essex Koi and Aquatics UK Ltd, Bradwell Wick Farm, Maldon Road, Bradwell on Sea, Essex, CM0 7HZ. Returned parcels remain the customer’s responsibility until received back by Essex Koi and Aquatics UK Ltd. Once received the price of the goods purchased will be returned minus postage costs.
Privacy Policy
Essex Koi and Aquatics UK Ltd do not disclose buyer’s information other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment; in this case the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
